+ WHAT PLATFORM DO YOU USE TO DESIGN YOUR WEBSITES?

Grey Barn Media uses Squarespace which is an industry leader and an all-in-one platform that can help your business grow. Squarespace allows GBM to provide our clients with a professional site yet one that clients can easily learn to use as updates are needed. Therefore once the site is build, the client can make their own edits and customizations once the site is launched.

+ ONCE THE SITE IS COMPLETE, WHO MAKES THE EDITS GOING FORWARD?

A website is an ever-changing entity and one that should be kept up to date with current information. Who wants a stale site? No one! Therefore it is imperative that the information on the site is accurate. Part of our process, is to sit down with the client and teach them how to make edits going forward. One of the benefits of using Squarespace is that no coding knowledge is necessary and edits are easy to make once you understand how to do so. If someone wants to hire me to make updates after launch, we can chat and set something up for those instances.

+ WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME IN ORDER TO GET STARTED?

Once we chat, Grey Barn Media will provide you a link to a client questionnaire which will be filled out and completed. You will start to compile graphics, photos, write content, think about colors that identify with your brand. This will be done through a shared Google folder or Dropbox. We will talk about your vision and strategy of your site as each website is unique and has different needs. GBM will create a design that implements your vision and achieves your online goals. You have a chance to view the trial and tell us what you love and what changes you would like to see made. Right before launching the site, GBM will sit down with you and walk you through a tutorial on how to make any changes you may need going forward.

+ WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE PROFESSIONAL IMAGES?

The right image is crucial to any website and to represent your brand. If you are limited in images, just let us know. We have ways to work around it and build it into our planning process.
